Before the transformation: Living room without any interior shading



Initially, the living room was equipped with large windows without any interior shading, resulting in excessive natural light entering the room. While this open space was very pleasant during the day and allowed for a beautiful view of the garden, it also caused issues with room overheating, glare, and lack of privacy. The homeowners wanted a solution that would maintain the connection with the outdoor environment while also providing adequate shading and privacy.

Selection of systems and fabrics

 
After carefully considering the client's needs and desires, we decided to install fabric roller blinds with integrated ZOOMTECH® technology, approximately 4,5 meters wide, which is ideal for large glazed surfaces. This technology was chosen primarily for the ability to use a small tube despite the large width of the blind, without the need for multiple pieces and without the unwanted fabric deformations that are typical for such large dimensions.
 

SLIM System: For both blinds, the SLIM system was selected, and silent battery-operated motors were chosen as the control option. These motors last about six months on a single charge, providing maximum comfort and easy control with a remote. The installation was done on the ceiling, contributing to a clean and elegant look in the room.

Linen-Blend Fabric: For the blinds, a high-quality linen-blend fabric was selected, offering a soft texture and natural appearance. This fabric is also part of the collection of fabrics tested specifically for large sizes by ZOOMTECH®.

Curtains: As a complement to the blinds and to create a cozy atmosphere, D1 pleat curtains with a fabric in a natural shade were chosen to match the design of the blinds. The neutral tones of the curtains allow for easy combination with other interior elements, ensuring a timeless and unified look.

After the installation of fabric roller blinds and curtains, the living room transformed into an elegant and functional space that meets all the homeowners' needs. Thanks to the neutral tones of the fabrics and carefully selected details, the room now exudes a calm, harmonious, and cozy ambience while maintaining a minimalist design and the ability to easily combine with other accessories. The interior shading also provides greater privacy and light regulation options.

  • Quiet and efficient control: The battery-operated motors ensure the quiet operation of the blinds, adding to the overall comfort of the room. In addition, the blinds can be controlled remotely, making them easy to use.
