Panel blinds, also called Japanese panel tracks or Japanese panel walls, are suitable for shading large areas or dividing a room. The principle is very simple and at the same time very variable. The profiles are 2 to 5-groove and there are many ways to combine the panels with each other and you can place design wooden slats on them. The panels are made from fabrics designed for roller blinds, but also from fabrics used for Roman blinds and for curtains.
There are several types of panel tracks. The basic design includes an upper attachment and a lower load bar inserted into the tunnel. If the panel is made of roller blind fabric, it can be supplemented with glued design strips. Laminate reinforcements ensure the necessary switching off of panels from curtain fabrics. The aluminium profile with sliding panels stands out for its simplicity and imposes minimal space requirements for installation.
Japanese panel blinds can be operated manually or motorized. The appropriate method of control must be chosen taking into account the dimensions of the product and the method of interconnection of individual panels.
It always depends on the type of material used. Minor dirt can be removed with a slightly damp cloth or vacuum cleaner using the lowest degree of suction. Curtain fabrics can be washed.
